About Me

Hi, I'm Coach Hart.

Welcome to Coach Hart Athletics! My name is Mark Antoine Hart Jr. I am 28 years old and I was born & raised in Michigan. I attended Michigan State University from 2012-2016. I studied Electrical Engineering until I found that my passion was less in science and technology, and more so in psychology and people. I changed my major to Human Development and Family Studies and this decision planted the seed of self-discovery. HDFS paved the way by teaching me how mental health impacts a person's daily function. This realization lead me to exploring ways of managing stress and living a healthier lifestyle.

I participated in team sports my whole life. I played football since I was 8 years old all they way through high school. Even in college, I found as many opportunities to compete and push myself with rec leagues and pick up games. It became clear to me that I loved to stay active and communicate with others about a common goal. In 2017, I discovered that I wanted to be a personal trainer.

As your trainer, I will utilize my knowledge, skills, and experience to: motivate and influence, write programs, and coach you through tough times and unhealthy habits to help reach your goals. Ultimately, I will teach you how to use fitness as a catalyst to help promote a healthier mental state and create life changing habits. Through behavior coaching, stress management, outlet programming, and goal setting, I will use fitness to promote self-confidence, discipline, time management, and more.

I specialize in strength & conditioning from my football background but my programming focuses on sustainability, mobility, preventative exercise, and weight loss transformations. If someone were to have a specific goal outside my scope of practice, I would not hesitate to refer them to someone else because serving my clients and their needs is my #1 priority. I look forward to working with you and helping you reach your goals!! Click the link below to sign up for personal training!!!
